• Medical Information Technology (MIT):
  This section is unique among the business community in the Middle East. The functions of the section are divided into four major areas:

Introducing comprehensive IT solutions to the clients.
Accreditation and pre-accreditation assessment and consulting.
Regional Healthcare Information Technology.
Clinical (Diagnostic and Treatment) Automation.

MIT holds many different IT solutions. The current specialty is to make computers an integral part of the common daily practice in the healthcare sector. In order to do so, the section saw the need to computerize the current different information the health sector holds. It takes care of having our customers accredited by the international health accreditation authorities, such as the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), and Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS). MIT has made a selection of potential products that can achieve successful sales in the region. These products have been associated with specific reputable international companies. Tareq Company is representing these companies on a regional scale.

Clinical Automation is among the niches targeted by MIT. In this context, the section has already ventured into an Electrophysiology Lab; the first in Kuwait that adds an extra treatment and diagnosis sector in the tertiary healthcare system. It has the ability to place the experience and judgment as a second option of the internationally renowned healthcare providers.

• Computers Systems:
  This section handles the marketing of computer systems and related peripherals. Apart from selling branded products, it also maintains a production line for assembling computer systems featuring unique specifications. Further to marketing the computer systems, the section provides IT solutions to the clients such as software support, network solutions, etc., thus completely serving the entire IT market, as well as meeting the demand for both PC and corporate systems. Color graphic printing constitutes part of the computer environment. Trained product specialists are entrusted with marketing of printers manufactured by Tektronix/Xerox. Tektronix is a leader in the color laser class market, specialized in high end network printing.
• Broadcasting and Communications:
  This section under the umbrella of Electronics Division handles diversified product range covering broadcasting and communications. Staffed with highly experienced product specialists the section has been marketing specialized TV broadcasting systems to Ministry of Information, Ministry of Education and Kuwait University.
